DESTROY GUNDAM MODEL by victortky DESTROY GUNDAM MODEL by victortky
Another photo taken from the ANIME FAIR 2006 EXHIBITION last year. Here is the world's only DESTROY GUNDAM MODEL, built from scratch and painted with colours, for the first time revealed to fans. I really loved the weapons and the pose of the gundam. It is so freaking awesome and cool in the anime and it is really intimidating compared to the other gundams! I really want to but it, but sadly it is not for sale.

Please rate and comment please. I really appreciate any comments. I will be uploading some more covers of my favourite computer games and comic characters...so keep an eye out for them!

PHOTOGRAPHY BY ME.
DO NOT STEAL!

I wantta get my hands on one of those someday

on an artistic note, you could have done alittle better with yout lighting and angle. The light from bottom doesn't do much to help luminate the frame as well as giving it a neutral level of view, it isn't all that intimidating.

But its still a cool photo regardless, to see the first Destroy model in existence, I seriesly want one...

On a small side note: True freedom nearly lost to it, but that was in its inicial debute. On later battles, they were destroyed fairly easily by the Destiny and Legend.

Thank you so much for the meaningful comment. Much appreciated.

Yep, the first and only destroy gundam model in existence. I wanna buy this home!

The freedom was cobbled bythe destroy, but managed to defeat it, resulting in the death of stellar.

kinda makes me wonder how they can mass produce the model sets... and on which scale... Since the Destroy is the same size if not bigger then the Regenerate gundam (which has also yet the be made into a model), it should be two or three times as big as a regular gundam. Now imagine at 1/144 scale. The 1/144 Destroy would be the same size as a 1/100 scale regular. This kinda scares me at the size of what a 1/100 scale Destroy will be... two feet tall by one foot in diameter?

It also lead to the destruction of the Freedom, and the intrduction of Destiny and Legend.

It is highly likely to make a smaller version of the destroy gundam. But it would be really large, like what you mentioned. Perhaps it would be at least 5 times the size of a regular gundam.

The turning point of the destiny series.

I doubt they will make a new scale just for one gundam. You have to look at it this way, it will be either 1/144 or 1/100 because anything larger then that in terms of scale down would be impractical to make/build and it would be fairly expensive to buy. If they were to mass produce it, its likely to run with the 1/144 or 1/100. When scaled down, 1/100 of the actual size of the Destroy is still around 2~4 feet.

Also the introcudtion of the Strike Freedom, Infinite Justice, and Akatsuki gundams.

You have a point there. I bet that the model will be very, very large.

I like the introduction of the three gundams you mentioned.

The size will be fairly rediculious regardless of the scale. Keeping in mind the weapons payload and the actualy capablity of the Destroy, details alone will take a few minutes for the more experienced builders and hours for the novice builders. Then the is the issue of structural intergrety since it is only plastic and will have to be able to support its weight. This will likely result in a more expensive model only for certain few who wish to have such a thing somewhere in their home/room. Also, if the model if built but not used, will also eventually build up a good amount of dust if not properly kept.

All I ahve to do is get an Akatsuki in 1/100 and my set of the 5 new gundams (Strike Freedom, Infinite Justice, Legend, Destiny, and Akatsuki) will be complete ^^;;
