Profile: Ever since she emerged from the Well of Allspark, Eclipse has been known to embrace the teaching of various Cybertronians, especially the primes. As a sparkling (another sparkling was born on the same cycle as her, and he became Warhead. [See Warhead's profile) , she admired Nova Prime greatly, and considered him the epitome of a leader as she was fascinated by his ideals of expanding Cybertron's culture and technology to other worlds through conquest. She also believed in Nova Prime's ideals of expansion and influencing the course of cosmic events, as well as the fact that cybertronians should be above the other forms of life. This led her to join the cybertronian military through the cybertronian ninja corps and Autobot Acedemy, where she studied the cybertronian martial arts and the training techniques passed down by the Autobot Council. Excelling in science and psychology, she graduated and was put to work among the security officers in Iacon.

However, after Nova Prime disappeared in a spaceship incident, the Autobots appointed a new leader, Sentinel Prime. The reign of Sentinel Prime made the Autobots corrupt and unjust, and it disillusioned her as she found out that they were little more than a corrupt police force and insatiable senate officers, enforcing the unfair laws made by the Senate for the good of the elite upper class rather than the minority of Cybertron. No one seemed to care about the minority, and she grew to despise them for their petty ignorance. But with no power or connections, there was no way she could make a difference. And hence were sown the seeds of a future Decepticon in this female Cybertronian's spark core.

After the breakout of a revolt in Mining Outpost C12 spread to the ears of the officers in Iacon, Eclipse was sent to go undercover in Kaon to investigate and bring back information on the illegal pit fighting games there. Sentinel Prime has tried to crush all of the city's refuse with the Kaon Security Forces, but he did not quite wipe them out cleanly. However, through her undercover work, Eclipse discovered something else that shocked her to her spark core when she finally got into the inner circle of the illegal pit fighting arenas: Megatron, and her twin brother Warhead, which she has not seen in Mega-Cycles ever since his expulsion from the military academy over unspecified matters.

When the truth of what happened in the mines was revealed, coupled along with the disgust she felt when she saw the corrupt upper classes enjoying their lives in Iacon, Eclipse decided right there and then to reject the Autobots ideology, her position in the Autobot ranks, and whatever other ideals they stood for, and took the side of the Decepticons. Since then, she has stood by Megatron's side along his group of loyal followers, due to the fact that she found Megatron's ideals similar to the credo of Nova Prime in the past. Her loyalty can be said to be almost on the same par as Soundwave, and she embraces the Decepticons creed of "Peace through Tyranny." wholesparkedly.

On the field of battle and several secret missions she was given by Decepticon High Command, Eclipse earned herself a reputation of being precise, stealthy and quick thinking in regards to tactics and strategy, hence making her one dangerous female Decepticon to be reckoned with. No one ever has any indication on where and when she will strike, but they all knows the consequences of crossing her. With her dedication and loyalty to the Decepticon cause unquestioned, some Decepticons may think that she has become more or less of a zealot. Exceptionally dangerous and incredibly useful, Eclipse maintains her status as one of the most versatile troopers in Megatron's personal circle of elite warriors.

Abilities: Subject is a ninja due to her mastery of Circuit-Su and Crystalocution when training in the Cybertronian Ninja Corps. [See profiles for Circuit-Su and Crystalocution] She's also a deadly warrior with Energon swords [See profile for Energon Weaponry] which she can detach from her rotorblades in helicopter mode and can burn up to a few thousand degrees Celsius with a burn rate of five kilojoules per nano-klik. The blades can cut through almost anything, slicing titanium in seconds. Her "hair" can be detached and be used as ninja throwing shruiken stars. Subject has a laser blaster on her arm that fires high velocity lasers to stun her enemies while she moves in for the kill with her blades.

She transforms into a Cybertronian Helicopter that can fly at Mach 2.5 speed for over 40,000 miles and is armed with two front mounted lasers and ramming spikes. Subject can also fire short ranged high explosive missiles from her twin missile arrays at the sides of her helicopter mode. Her helicopter mode has roof mounted boosters for short bursts of additional speed, which can also become an arm-mounted "flamethrower" with spinning blades, which Subject uses for close range quarters combat. She maintains a master-pet relationship (like Soundwave and his Cassettes) with a symbiotic companion known as Morpha, who resembles a little insection female dragonfly which is armed with dual lasers and a hydrochloric liquid launcher, and has surveillance and spying equipment attached to it, making Morpha an effective spy for her master.

Subject is also able to lift about a few dozen tons for a female her size due to a special metal that encases her body complementing and emphasising her strength levels. (most likely due to her brother Warhead's genetic code)  She is also a professional with languages and symbols as she has been working as a language specialist before she joined the Decepticons. Subject also exhibits some telekinetic powers, as she can lift and push enemies back with telekinetic force observed from some battlefield records recorded by Laserbeak. (Needs further analysis) Subject excels in hit and run attacks due to her speed, and she can utilise multi-blade weaponry to decimate her enemies. She acts like a "Swiss Army Knife" type of Decepticon, keeping herself light and agile due to her light chassis and sleek frame, while dishing out maximum damage to her enemies.

Subject is part of a subgroup of duo warriors known as ShockBlitzers, and the other warrior is her twin brother Warhead.

Note: [Refer to Soundwave's Report 156G] Subject has, at some unknown time, formed a "romantic" relationship with Decepticon Trooper Blackout, and it warrants further analysis as on whether this relationship may compromise her effectiveness in battle.

Weaknesses: Subject has low density due to her light chassis and her thin frame, which a single critical hit can cause damage to some possibly vital sections of her body. Her armour is quite thin in some places, which may present some potential targets for her enemies when in battle. Subject lacks firepower as she utilises multi-blade weaponry and does not have much ranged weapons. Using too much of her telekinetic powers may drain her energon reserves significantly. Damage to her symbiotic companion Morpha may also anger Subject considerably and cause her to feel pain.

Ah, Eclipse. This one I sense potential in her among my Decepticons. With her deadly skills and unquestionable loyalty, I can count on her to finish off any enemy I have found to be…undesirable. Loyalty is a luxury I want from my troops, but reliability is another matter as it is needed to function fully in the field of battle. Eclipse's always taking my orders without question, and always coming back alive after any mission I have given her, makes her one of my indispensable troopers. Her relationship with her brother Warhead has made her an efficient warrior, and somehow the relationship with Blackout is what worries me. But I shall wait and see what happens, as I expect great things from her.

I've warned Megatron once and again that this Eclipse is far too good to be true. She hides behind all her loyalty and skills, but there's something else in her that make cons fear her. And her brother Warhead was immensely protective of her…and somehow they can perceive each other feelings correctly. I must keep track of this particular trooper…if she ever slips up, I will need to take her down, damn whatever Megatron does to me. That girl and her brother cannot be trusted, and…neither can I, but Megatron always spare my life.

There's a feeling in my spark…what do I call it? Love? Whenever I saw Eclipse, I felt a certain warm feeling in my spark. She has helped me get out of certain situations at times, and I have also saved her spark during some moments. Yes, both her and I have our fair share of troubles, but whenever we were together, we always pull through those matters. I really liked those moments in the past few meta-cycles I spend with her, and somehow I feel that there's a connection between us that won't be lying low forever.

Eclipse has been one of my most promising students. I have seen her in the training courses, and she always managed to perceive most of the other Decepticon's attack styles and countering each of them effectively and efficiently. I have sparred with her once, and I must say it must have been an orbital cycle after our sparring has finished. Eclipse has some potential in her, especially her telekinetic powers…if she could harness the power, it could open up more possibilities for her in battle. Regarding her relationship with her brother Warhead, I have found something interesting: both twins have a connection that can allow them to perceive the surroundings around them, effectively allowing them to have a subconscious link to each other. In short, they can find each other even if separated at different locations. Another two things I noticed are Eclipse's speed and strength: She's unusually strong for a female cybertronian, and her speed rivals some of our best ninja operatives. There are also some remarkably similar abilities she has with her brother twin Warhead…and her metallic body is comprised of a metal I haven't seen in Meta-cycles, I suspect this has something to do with her relationship with Warhead.

Addendum: Lord Megatron, I hereby recommend her to be sent for any assassination and intelligence gathering missions, as her speed and skills, as well as knowledge of the Autobot's locations can help us greatly in mapping out their troop deployments and important locations.
